Continental Tire Canada Welcomes Frank Buntinx as New Managing Director

Frank Buntinx takes on leadership of Continental Tire Canada following more than two decades of experience across the company’s tire business

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Sept. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Continental Tire Canada has named Frank Buntinx as its new Managing Director. In his new role, Buntinx will oversee the company’s tire business in Canada, leading the organization across its passenger and light truck, commercial vehicle and specialty tire segments.

Born in Belgium, Buntinx brings more than 20 years of experience with Continental. He began his career with the company in 2003 in logistics and supply chain before moving into roles spanning marketing, pricing, business intelligence, fleet operations and sales.

His career later progressed into leadership roles within the Benelux region, encompassing Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. There, Buntinx served as Head of Marketing and later as Head of Fleet Solutions and Truck Tires, gaining management experience across different areas of Continental’s tire business.

The move to Canada marks a new chapter in Buntinx’s career and an opportunity to bring an international perspective to the Canadian market and organization.
